Samir Sinha

Samir Sinha is a Senior Analyst with the Franklin Templeton Institute and has over 25 years of experience in the investment management industry. He began his investment career at Sanford C. Bernstein where he analyzed and presented equity research on the chemicals industry. This was followed by an equity analyst role at AIM Management (now Invesco) where he assisted in managing $31 billion of assets. He then formed Mockingbird Holdings, which was a firm that managed a long/short equity portfolio, invested in private equity and debt transactions, and allocated to alternative investment managers for a family office. Just prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Samir was a senior portfolio manager at MBM Financial (now BOK Financial), helping to manage and raise $1.2 billion in client assets where he was a key member of the investment committee. Samir holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University’s School of Engineering & Applied Science. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Houston Society of Financial Analysts.


Marcus Weyerer, CFA

Senior ETF Investment Strategist EMEA, Franklin Templeton

Marcus Weyerer joined Franklin Templeton in November 2018. In his role as Senior ETF Investment Strategist, he is responsible for the macro and tactical positioning of our ETFs with investors. Previously, Marcus Weyerer was ETF Sales Specialist at WisdomTree for the German-speaking regions. Until 2016, he worked at Intesa Sanpaolo in London as a money market trader and in the bank's treasury service for international corporate clients. Prior to that, he worked in various positions at Commerzbank AG and the Erste Rosenheimer Privatbank. Marcus Weyerer studied at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and holds a Master of Science in Finance & Capital Markets. Marcus is also a CFA® charterholder.

Murali Yerram is a vice president & portfolio manager - Equities for Franklin Templeton India AMC Ltd. He is responsible for advising offshore accounts including FTIF Franklin India Fund.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton Investments, Mr. Yerram worked in the software services industry for Deloitte Consulting, Infosys Technologies and Satyam Computer Services for 7 years.

Mr. Yerram earned his MBA in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School in May, 2007 and his Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from JNTU college of Engineering, Hyderabad in 1998
