Ajay Dayal joined ClearBridge Investments as senior Client Portfolio Manager in October 2021. He has spent the prior 13 years representing their capabilities under their corporate parent Legg Mason and then Franklin Templeton.
Ajay works in close partnership with the ClearBridge investment teams and Franklin Templeton distribution teams within the business. His role is to articulate and shape the investment solutions, ensuring their technical insights and value propositions are clearly communicated across multiple mediums and client channels within the EMEA and Asia regions. His areas of expertise are US and Global equity strategies, and listed Infrastructure.
Preceding this he had spent 13 years at the holding company level, first Legg Mason Global Asset Management and then Franklin Templeton, after their acquisition in August 2020. At Legg Mason he was a Managing Director, Head of Equity Product Specialist Group. He represented the global (and thematic) equity and multi-asset capabilities at Specialist Investment Managers such as ClearBridge, Martin Currie and QS Investors under the Legg Mason business. Ajay has over 20 years of professional investment experience. He has also previously worked at ABN AMRO Asset Management, M&G Investments and Barings.
He has a BA (Hons) in Economics from Durham University, England, and holds the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) designation and is a regular member of the CFA Society of the UK.

Shane is a Portfolio Manager on all Global Infrastructure strategies at ClearBridge Investments.
He joined the firm in 2010 and the investment industry in 1997.
Shane was a Portfolio Manager and Senior Portfolio Analyst at RARE Infrastructure Limited, which became part of ClearBridge in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Director, Infrastructure Securities at Hastings Funds Management; a Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst at Tribeca Investment Partners; and an Investment Analyst at AMP Capital Investors.
Shane received a Master of Commerce in advanced finance from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney.
