Caroline Baron is Head of ETF Distribution EMEA. Ms. Baron's role is to actively support Franklin Templeton's global ETF rollout across Europe and promote the Franklin LibertyShares range in the region.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in January 2018, Ms. Baron worked at BlackRock iShares where she covered French Institutional Clients and UK Wealth before moving to Invesco PowerShares where she was Head of UK Distribution focusing on Smart Beta strategies.

She started her career in investment banking working on the Treasury Desk but also Futures and Options, Metals and CDOs.

Ms. Baron graduated from ESSCA Angers (Ecole superieure des Sciences Commerciales d'Angers) where she got a Masters degree, specialising in Financial Markets. She also studied at the University of Saint-Louis, Missouri where she obtained the Dean's honours in Political Sciences.

David Zahn is the senior vice president and head of European fixed income for Franklin Templeton Fixed Income - Global Sovereign and Emerging Market Debt in London, United Kingdom. Mr. Zahn is responsible for leading the management of European fixed income strategies, and several global aggregate and global government fixed income portfolios.

Mr. Zahn has over 26 years of experience in financial services. He is a member of the Fixed Income Research and Strategy Team (FIRST), which sets broad fixed income strategy at Franklin Templeton. Prior to his current role, Mr. Zahn was a senior portfolio manager for Citigroup Asset Management. Mr. Zahn joined Franklin Templeton in 2006 as a senior vice president and portfolio manager. Mr. Zahn holds a bachelor of science in business administration from University of Maine, a master of arts in war in the modern world from King's College London, and a MBA in finance from University of Connecticut. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA*) charterholder, a qualified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder.

Jason Xavier is Head of EMEA Capital Markets for Franklin Templeton Investments. The Capital Markets team works closely with investors, broker-dealers and market makers to ensure efficient primary and secondary market trading for all Franklin ETFs. His responsibilities include working with European liquidity providers to foster healthy creation and redemption processes and on-screen markets, as well as partnering with Franklin European sales specialists to discuss ETF trading and structure directly with clients.

Mr. Xavier has over 16 years of experience in ETF, Index and portfolio strategies. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in the summer of 2017, Mr. Xavier headed the Capital Markets team at ETF Securities based in London. His experience prior to ETF Securities includes running the ETF capital markets function at HSBC Asset management and multi-asset index structuring at Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and Deutsche Bank.

Mr. Xavier holds a BEng in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Applied Mathematics from Imperial College London.

Marcus Weyerer joined Franklin Templeton in November 2018. In his role as Senior ETF Investment Strategist, he is responsible for the macro and tactical positioning of our ETFs with investors. Previously, Marcus Weyerer was ETF Sales Specialist at WisdomTree for the German-speaking regions. Until 2016, he worked at Intesa Sanpaolo in London as a money market trader and in the bank's treasury service for international corporate clients. Prior to that, he worked in various positions at Commerzbank AG and the Erste Rosenheimer Privatbank. Marcus Weyerer studied at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and holds a Master of Science in Finance & Capital Markets. Marcus is also a CFA® charterholder.

Roxane is Head of Strategy at GHCO, a registered market maker and one of the fastest-growing liquidity providers, specialising in ETFs and ETPs on and off all major European exchanges. Trader passionate about tech, she joined GHCO to reshape the business into a leading fintech company. She advanced the fixed income ETF trading, and now focuses on innovative areas of growth for the group. Prior to joining GHCO, she held positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and HUBX. Fierce advocate for diversity & inclusion, Roxane co-heads the London Chapter of Women in ETFs. Roxane also joined Alma Angels from its early days in 2019, an inclusive community of investors actively supporting ambitious female founders.

Demir is an accomplished investment executive with more than 15 years of experience in asset, wealth, and hedge fund management. In his current role as Head of Portfolio Management at FINVIA, he leads a team responsible for developing and implementing bespoke investment strategies for institutional, VIP, and UHNWI clients. Demir's academic background includes a PhD in factor-based investment strategies from the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he was also a visiting scholar at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Throughout his career, Demir has held several key positions in portfolio management and trading, including at Lupus alpha, Monti Investment, Deka Investment, and ansa capital management. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the International University of Monaco and has held visiting professor positions at the University of Miami and Technical University of Darmstadt.

Demir is recognized for his research, having received the prestigious Bernstein Fabozzi / Jacobs Levy Outstanding Article Award in 2019 and regularly speaks at international conferences. He is also a member of the Independent Jury for the Bundesverband Alternative Investments e.V. (BAI) annual Science Award.

Andrea Daffara

Andrea Daffara graduated in 2002 in Economics of Financial Intermediaries at the Faculty of Economics of Turin University. After his Master's Degree in Private Equity at Borsa Italiana-MIP Politecnico di Milano, he joined the consulting firm Arthur D. Little as a Corporate Finance analyst. In 2008 he joined Sella Gestioni, where he developed analysis and portfolio management activities for equity funds and, from 2013 until 2022, as a fund buyer, he was responsible for managing the company’s internal range of Top Fund Selection funds of funds. He joined Banca Patrimoni in January 2023 as a senior fund selector in the advisory team.

Mariano Gambaro

Mariano Gambaro is one of the most established advisory professionals in the Italian asset management industry. He has more than 20 years’ experience in asset management, including Portfolio Management, High Net Worth and Wealth Management, Asset Allocation, set up of Investment processes, risk analysis, positions monitoring, cash management, performance attribution and reporting activities. He joined Banca Finnat in 2011 as a Deputy Officer of Asset Management Unit, moving to his current position in 2016. Prior to that, he had been the Team Leader of European Quant Equity Strategies at Pioneer Investments in Dublin from 2008 to 2011 and worked at Capitalia AM from 2002 to 2004, as a Risk Analyst first and then as a Portfolio Manager. Mariano graduated in Economics and Business Administration at the University of Naples and received an MBA from SDOA – Salerno.

Alessandro Greppi, PhD

Alessandro Greppi, PhD is a portfolio manager @ Zurich Investments Life where is focused on the development of tactical asset allocation models, artificial intelligence based models for ETF and mutual funds selection, ESG products and cross assets technical analysis. He has been nominated in Funds People’s “Top Italian Fund Selectors Ranking” in 2022 and in “Citywire Selector 40 Under 40” (Class 2022/23) for European leading fund pickers aged under 40.

He is also a member of the Board of Directors for SIAT (Società Italiana di Analisi Tecnica) and for IFTA (International Federation of Technical Analysts). Since 2019 he has been a lecturer at the Master in Technical Analysis of Financial Market held by SIAT on financial statistics, machine learning, big data, portfolio analysis and social networks sentiment analysis with R. He is also the coordinator of a data science course dedicated to institutional investors.
