Martyn Gilbey is responsible for providing the strategy, leadership and management of Franklin Templeton's overall business operations for the UK.
Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in August 2017, Mr. Gilbey worked for Aberdeen Asset Management, managing the UK Distribution business covering Retail, Institutional and Captive channels. Mr. Gilbey has also worked for a number of asset managers and both in the UK and overseas in Asia Pacific and the Americas, including Barclays, Insight Investment, SWIP and Aberdeen.
Mr. Gilbey graduated from University College London in 1994 with an honours degree in English Literature, and also holds the Investment Management Certificate.
