Martin Currie Reporting Season Webinar

Available On Demand

Expectations vs. Impact: Will earnings get rewarded or punished this season?

This reporting season is shaping up to be a decisive one for portfolio positioning.

Australian equity valuations are near record highs. The gap between the most expensive and cheapest stocks remains at extreme levels. And index-driven flows continue to push up the prices (and index weights) of the largest Australian stocks.

In this environment, even modest earnings surprises may drive outsized price reactions, and create both risks and opportunities. For long-term investors, it’s a season where fundamentals matter more than ever.

Join Reece Birtles, Chief Investment Officer at Martin Currie Australia, as he shares the team’s insights from this reporting season. These will include results highlights, key earnings signals, takeaways from direct engagements with company management, and examples of where the team see the most compelling valuation and capital management opportunities emerging.

CPD points are available for this webinar.
