Background
Stephen Jobe has worked in the financial service industry on both the investment management and the Broker-Dealer sides of the business for 30 years. He has been in the 529 space 20 years. Stephen joined Legg Mason in 2014, hired to run the firm’s 529 Plan business. Today he is focused on educating advisors and their clients on the unique benefits of 529 Plans.

Credentials and awards
Jobe is on the Board of the College Savings Foundation, where he once served as Chair of the Government Affairs Committee, working with legislators and regulators in DC to advance the interests of stakeholders in the 529 Plan industry. He holds his FINRA Series 24, 51, and 63 securities licenses.
